St Helena’s Playground

St Helena’s is one of those parks that Dundalk people genuinely love, and you can see why the moment you walk in. The old trees alone are worth the visit — proper mature ones that give the whole place a great atmosphere, especially come Halloween when the park takes on a different character entirely. There are swings for the kids, picnic tables if you want to make an afternoon of it, and a decent walking path that’s well used by the dog-walking crowd (it’s very much a dog-friendly spot). Parking is handy too, which makes it an easy one to plan around.
