Omeath Playground

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids absolutely lose their minds for it, and honestly it’s one of the better ones you’ll find in the area. There’s a proper fenced football pitch too, so older kids can have a kick-about while the younger ones do their thing on the equipment. Plenty of open grass to just let them run, which sounds simple but you’d be surprised how many playgrounds skimp on that. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables get good use here, and there’s parking and toilets on site so you’re not scrambling. A solid family afternoon out, especially if you’re passing through the Cooley Peninsula.
