Lough Lannagh Playground

Right in the middle of Castlebar, this spot has a lot going for it — the lake backdrop makes it feel a bit less like your average town playground. It’s kept well, which honestly isn’t always a given, and the open layout means you can actually keep an eye on the kids without constantly chasing after them. There are swings and slides for the little ones, plus a soccer pitch nearby that older kids tend to claim pretty quickly. The walking path around the lake is handy if you want to stretch your legs while they burn off some energy. A solid, no-fuss option for families in the area.
