Beechgrove playground

If you’re after somewhere calm and off the beaten track, this little spot in Beechgrove delivers. There are dirt and grass trails to explore, and some of them have plants growing in along the way which actually adds to the adventure, especially for kids who like that kind of thing. A fence runs along the farm boundary which gives it a proper rural Monaghan feel. The open grass field is handy for a kickaround or just letting kids run loose. It’s quiet enough that you won’t be fighting for space, which is exactly the point.
