Honestly, Newport Town Park is one of those spots that people outside the area just don’t know about yet, and the locals are quietly fine with that. The playground is genuinely well done — slides, a zipline that the kids absolutely lose their minds over, and enough space to run around properly. It’s not just a drop-off-and-wait situation either, because the walking path makes it worth your while as an adult too. A solid stop if you’re passing through Tipperary and need to burn off some energy.
