Glebe Park & Playground

Right in the middle of Roscrea, Glebe Park punches well above its weight for a town-centre playground. The zipline is the obvious crowd-pleaser — kids will queue for it repeatedly — but there’s a solid climbing structure and swings to keep the younger ones busy too. It’s properly enclosed, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a bolter on your hands, and the sightlines are good enough that you can actually sit at a picnic bench without constantly craning your neck. Keep an eye out for the fairy doors dotted around the trees, because smaller kids absolutely love hunting for them. The community clearly takes pride in this place, and it shows.
