Passage East Playground

Small but well kept, this little playground punches above its weight thanks almost entirely to its location — you get genuinely lovely views out over the estuary that you really weren’t expecting from a village playground. The climbing structure and slides are solid, nothing flashy, but the place is kept clean and feels safe enough that you can actually relax. Grab a coffee from the Black Sheep café next door and sit at one of the picnic tables while the kids do their thing — that’s honestly the move here. There’s a soccer pitch nearby too, which keeps the older ones occupied. It’s the kind of spot locals know about and visitors stumble on by accident, usually while waiting for the ferry.
