The Murrough Playground

Right on the edge of the beach, this one’s hard to beat for a family outing in Wicklow town. The zipline is the obvious crowd-pleaser, but kids also love the pirate ship climbing structure and the maze — there’s enough going on that they won’t be pestering you to leave anytime soon. You’ve got a decent sandbox, slides for the smaller ones, and swings, all with the sea practically in the background. Benches and parking make life easier for parents, and the walking path along the Murrough is right there if you want to stretch your legs after. It stays pretty well-kept, which you notice and appreciate more than you’d expect.
