If you’re crossing over at the Reynosa-Hidalgo bridge and need a spot to let the kids burn off some energy, this little urban park is right there near Plaza Las Americas and works in a pinch. It’s a no-frills kind of place — don’t expect anything fancy, but that’s kind of the point. Families from the area use it regularly, and it’s got that lived-in neighborhood feel you actually want when you’re looking for something real rather than a tourist setup. Just keep in mind it’s not set up for wheelchair access, so plan accordingly.
