Fearon Park

Most locals outside the immediate area haven’t even heard of this place, which is honestly fine by me. The climbing structure keeps kids genuinely busy, and the sandbox is one of those proper-sized ones where they can actually dig around for a while rather than just standing in a tray. It’s the kind of park where you can actually hear yourself think — no crowds, plenty of room on the open grass field, and parking that doesn’t require a 10-minute walk. The sculptures dotted around give it a bit of character, and the walking path means you can do a lap while the kids do their thing. Good restrooms, picnic tables, solid all-round setup for toddlers through to older kids.
