If you’ve got a toddler who won’t stop banging on pots and pans at home, bring them here instead. The musical equipment is genuinely one of the more unique touches you’ll find at a playground in South Auckland — little ones are obsessed with it. The whole setup is designed with the under-5 crowd in mind, so everything is at the right scale and actually usable for that age group. There’s a decent bike track looping around too, which is great if your kid is on a balance bike or scooter and needs somewhere to just go. Parking is easy, and the walking paths make it a solid spot for the whole family to spread out for a while.
