One of those spots that actually lives up to its reputation — Stanmore Playground is kept in genuinely good nick, which isn’t something you can say about every park on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula. It’s clean, tidy, and clearly gets some love from whoever’s responsible for maintaining it. The kind of place you don’t think twice about taking the kids because you know it’s not going to be a letdown when you get there.
