Right on the edge of Lake Rotomā, this little spot punches above its weight for what it offers. The water feature keeps kids entertained while the grown-ups appreciate that the toilets are actually clean — which, honestly, isn’t something you can take for granted at lakeside stops around here. It’s an easy walk to the beach, so you can make a proper day of it. Campers especially seem to love using this as their base, and with the lake right there, it’s hard to argue with that call.
