This one’s a proper local effort — built by volunteers who actually gave a damn about the neighbourhood, not some council tick-box project. The Ahuriri community pulled this together themselves, which you can kind of feel when you’re there. It’s the sort of place that exists because people showed up and made it happen. Worth supporting just for that reason alone.
