If you’ve got kids who can’t decide between running wild on play equipment and shooting hoops, this spot in Palmerston North has you sorted. The basketball court gets a good workout, and the adjustable hoop means kids of different ages can actually use it properly. What I like is how close it sits to the bush — you can duck off for a decent walk without driving anywhere. Plenty of room to spread out, and the grounds are kept tidy enough that you’re not dodging rubbish. Good shout for ages 2 through 12, honestly.
