Hyde Park

Shannon locals take real pride in this one — and it shows. Hyde Park has been kept in genuinely good shape over the years, largely thanks to community donations rather than just council budgets. It’s one of the older parks in town, so there’s a bit of history underfoot when you’re kicking a ball around the open grass field. Nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point — it’s a reliable, well-loved green space that works for pretty much any age group.
