Waiouru Skate Park

Queree Drive doesn’t have a lot going on, but the skate park is genuinely one of those spots that punches above its weight for a town this size. It draws a pretty mixed crowd — little kids just finding their feet on a board right through to older skaters who’ve clearly been at it for years. There’s something kind of refreshing about a community spot that actually gets used, and this one does.
