If you’re local to Whanganui, this one’s worth knowing about. The marble race feature is genuinely cool — kids figure out the mechanics pretty quickly and then spend way longer than you’d expect running it over and over. There’s also a decent climbing structure, slides, and a sandbox to keep the younger ones busy while the big kids do their thing. The whole area is fenced off, which makes it a lot easier to relax without constantly doing a headcount. Good pick for the 3–11 crowd, especially if yours are into hands-on, creative stuff.
