Tucked away in a quiet reserve in the Nelson Region, this is the kind of spot locals tend to keep to themselves. The slides are the main draw — kids gravitate to them pretty much immediately — and the open grass field gives everyone else plenty of room to kick a ball around or just spread out. It’s genuinely low-key, which is exactly the point. Good for all ages, and honestly a solid option when you want a family outing without the crowds.
