Right next to the beach at Coopers Beach, this little playground is exactly what you want when you’ve got young kids who need to burn off energy before or after a swim. Nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point — there’s open grass to run around on, parking right there, and proper restrooms nearby, so you’re not scrambling. The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting honestly, with that Northland coastline sitting right in front of you. A solid stop if you’re making your way up through the area with little ones in tow.
