If you’re passing through Kaitaia and need somewhere to let the little ones burn off some energy, this is a solid option. It’s the kind of spot locals actually use rather than just drive past — simple, functional, and suited to young kids. Having restrooms on site makes a real difference when you’re travelling with toddlers, and that alone puts it ahead of plenty of other roadside stops in Northland. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.
