Kids Play Area

Right in the middle of town on Church Street, this little playground is handy if you’re already down that way — especially if you’ve just done the Hundertwasser toilets and need somewhere for the kids to decompress. It’s wheelchair accessible, which isn’t something you can take for granted in a small town like Kawakawa. The Bay of Islands Vintage Railway is practically next door, and Four Square is close enough that grabbing snacks isn’t a mission.
