Right on the edge of McLeod’s Bay, this little spot punches above its weight for such a quiet corner of the Heads. The climbing structure keeps kids genuinely busy — there’s enough challenge there for the 6-10 year olds while the younger ones sort themselves out on the swings and slides. After they’ve burned through their energy, the beach is basically steps away, which means rock scrambling and paddling can easily double your afternoon. Toilets on-site and a decent grass field for a kick-around make it the kind of place you can actually relax rather than just supervise. Locals know to time it with a coffee run from nearby — makes the whole thing feel pretty sorted.
