Balclutha Bridge Playground

The zipline here is genuinely the highlight — kids absolutely flock to it, and it’s one of the better flying foxes you’ll find in a town this size. There are swings too, which keeps the younger ones happy while the older kids take turns on the zip. The skatepark right next door is a solid bonus if you’ve got a mix of ages to keep entertained. Benches and restrooms on site make it a decent spot to actually settle in for a while. Worth knowing though: a few bits are showing their age, so don’t be surprised if something’s a little rough around the edges.
