Patea Rugby Field and Playground

If you’re in Pātea and need somewhere to burn off some energy, this place does the job well. The playground is genuinely big — not just “big for a small town” big — and the whole park is kept in solid shape, which you don’t always take for granted around here. There’s a proper walking path, a soccer field, and enough open grass to kick a ball around or just let the kids run. The garden adds a nice touch and makes it feel like someone actually cares about the place. Good for all ages, and easy to spend a couple of hours without running out of things to do.
