Right at the gateway to Abel Tasman, Mārahau is already a pretty solid destination — and Newhaven Reserve gives families a reason to slow down before hitting the tracks. It’s a handy spot to let kids burn off some energy when you’ve just arrived or you’re waiting on a water taxi. The surroundings do a lot of the heavy lifting here, honestly. Worth knowing about if you’re in the area with little ones in tow.
