Minogue Park is one of those spots that genuinely has something for every age, which makes it pretty rare. The littlies can dig around in the sandbox or splash at the water feature while older kids hit the zipline, and there’s a bike track that gets a solid workout on weekends. Views over Lake Rotokaeo are a nice bonus — grab a picnic table and you’ve got a pretty decent afternoon sorted. The basketball court and open grass field mean teenagers don’t get bored either, and with parking and restrooms right there, it’s easy to make a proper half-day of it.
