If you’re passing through Pōkeno and need somewhere to stop with the kids, this one’s worth pulling over for. The climbing structure is the main draw — solid enough to keep the 3-and-ups genuinely busy for a decent stretch. Shade trees do proper work here, so you’re not just baking on a bench while you wait them out. There’s a good open grass field too, handy if someone inevitably brings a ball. Picnic tables make it easy to stretch lunch out a bit longer than planned.
