Toa Payoh Dinosaur Playground

One of Singapore’s most recognisable playgrounds, this Toa Payoh gem has been drawing families for decades — and for good reason. The dinosaur sculptures are the real draw here, sturdy enough for toddlers to clamber over without parents having a heart attack. There’s decent shade from the trees and a pavilion with a stone table where you can actually sit and watch the kids without squinting into the sun. It’s a compact spot, so it suits the 2–4 crowd perfectly — nothing too overwhelming, nothing too far out of sight. Come early on weekends if you want the dinos to yourselves, because word’s definitely gotten out.
