Clifton Village Playground

The basketball court here gets a proper workout most afternoons — it’s one of the better ones in the Ashbourne area and the teenagers have definitely claimed it as their own. There’s a decent stretch of open grass alongside it, good enough for a kickabout or just letting younger kids run off some energy. Parking is easy, the benches and picnic tables mean you can actually settle in for a bit rather than just hovering, and everything’s kept in solid nick. Suits ages 4 and up, though honestly the older kids tend to get the most out of it.
