Roberts Park

Locals know Roberts Park is one of those spots that just works for a family afternoon — the zipline gets a proper queue on sunny days, and the sandbox and play train keep younger ones busy long enough for the adults to actually sit down. Grab one of the picnic tables under the shade trees and you’ve got a decent setup. The open grass field is genuinely flat and wide, good for a kickabout or just letting kids run, and the walking path along by the water is a nice way to stretch your legs without it feeling like a hike. Being right on the edge of Saltaire adds something — it’s a proper historic village worth a wander if you’ve got the time. Parking’s available, visibility across the play area is good, and honestly it earns its reputation as one of the better family parks in Baildon.
