National Trust – Wentworth Castle Gardens

The gardens are vast — kids can genuinely run themselves tired on the open grass while you actually sit down for five minutes at a picnic table. The castle folly is the real draw for older ones, and climbing the tower gets you views across South Yorkshire that are honestly worth the effort. Deer wander through if you’re lucky, and the walking paths are easy enough for little legs. Pack a lunch, you’ll want to stay longer than you planned.
