Stanley Park Playground

Locals know Stanley Park is one of the better spots in Blackpool for a proper family day out — there’s enough open grass that the kids can actually run around without being on top of each other. The swings and slides are decent for the under-12s, though a few bits are starting to show their age and could really do with some attention. Grab one of the picnic tables if you can, because this place was made for a packed lunch. Parking’s straightforward, and you can keep an eye on the little ones easily from most spots around the play area. The walking path and skate ramps nearby mean older kids and adults don’t end up just standing around waiting.
