Wembdon Children’s Playground

Tucked into one of Bridgwater’s quieter residential pockets near some decent woodland trails, this little playground punches above its weight for the under-5 crowd. The wooden animal sculptures are genuinely charming — the kind of thing toddlers lose their minds over — and the whole site is kept noticeably clean and tidy. Swings, a merry-go-round, and a small bike track cover most of what small kids actually want, and the flat, accessible paths mean it works for everyone. Nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point — it’s a proper neighbourhood park that does its job well.
