If you’re looking for somewhere that’ll genuinely tire the kids out without boring you to tears, this place near Brough delivers. There’s a solid mix of indoor and outdoor play — slides, swings, a sandbox, water feature — so it works whatever the weather, which matters a lot around here. The activities like straw bale chase tig and circus skills set it apart from your standard playground, and the staff actually seem to enjoy being there, which makes a difference. Birthday parties go down well too, partly because of the ice cream parlour and the decent food, and partly because someone else is doing the hard work for once.
