Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park

If you’ve got kids under 10 and haven’t been to Hogshaw yet, you’re genuinely missing out — this place punches well above its weight for a day out near Buckingham. The play areas alone keep little ones busy for hours, with slides, tunnels, a tire swing, sandbox, water feature, and even a play train and musical equipment to bash around on. Everything’s enclosed and easy to keep an eye on, with shaded seating and picnic tables so you’re not just standing around getting sunburned. The farm animals are the real draw for most families though, and the staff actually seem to enjoy being there, which makes a difference. Good value, well looked after, and close enough to some nice trails if you fancy a walk to burn off the post-lunch energy.
