Burford Garden Centre Play Area

Tucked alongside the garden centre, this little play area is genuinely one of the better spots in Burford for a family pit stop. The wooden climbing structure keeps older kids busy while the swings cover the younger ones, and there’s a sandbox that tends to be a crowd-pleaser regardless of age. It’s fully enclosed, which makes a real difference if you’ve got runners, and the picnic tables mean you can actually sit down properly rather than hovering anxiously on the edge. Parking is easy, loos are on-site, and the open grass gives kids room to properly stretch their legs — handy when you’ve dragged them round a garden centre for an hour.
