Wessington Park Play Area

Honestly one of the better spots in Calne for a proper family afternoon out. The play area itself is fully enclosed, which makes a huge difference when you’ve got little ones — you’re not constantly chasing them toward the car park. There’s a solid mix of equipment too: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a merry-go-round that keeps kids of pretty much any age entertained for longer than you’d expect. Benches are well-positioned so parents can actually see what’s going on, and parking nearby means you’re not hauling everything from half a mile away. Beyond the fenced area, the open grass field and walking path give you room to kick a ball around or just let the dog stretch its legs.
