Wenny Rd is one of those spots locals quietly rely on without making a big fuss about it. The fenced play area gives parents a chance to actually relax while younger kids do their thing on the swings — the enclosure genuinely helps, especially if you’ve got a runner. Older kids aren’t left out either, with a skate park that draws the teens away from the swings and onto something more their speed. What makes it worth the visit though is the open grass and the paths that push out toward the countryside, so you can stretch a quick trip into a proper afternoon if the weather plays ball. A solid local amenity that Chatteris doesn’t really shout about enough.
