West Witterings Recreation Ground

If you’re already heading to West Wittering beach, this rec ground is worth factoring into your day. The play area has slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps the 3–12 crowd genuinely occupied while parents decompress. There’s a decent open grass field too — good for a kickabout or just letting kids burn off whatever energy the beach didn’t take out of them. Parking is on site, which matters a lot around here in summer when street spots disappear fast. It’s nothing flashy, but it does the job and the location is hard to beat.
