Old Kiln Lakes Playground

Tucked beside the lakes just off the Chinnor reserve, this one’s a proper local gem that doesn’t get nearly enough credit. The wooden climbing structures feel right at home against the treeline, and the tire swing is always the first thing kids make a beeline for. There’s a water feature that younger ones absolutely lose their minds over in summer, plus enough open grass and a soccer field to keep older kids busy while you sit at one of the picnic tables and actually relax. The walking paths around the lake mean you can extend the trip into something that feels less like a playground visit and more like a full afternoon out. Good for ages 2 through 12, and honestly the outdoor gym kit means parents have no excuse either.
