The fort-style climbing structure here is genuinely one of the better bits of kit you’ll find around Chipping Norton — kids go straight for it and don’t leave for a good hour. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and monkey bars, plus a separate section for the little ones so toddlers aren’t getting steamrolled by older kids. The whole play area is enclosed, which makes a real difference if you’ve got runners, and sightlines are good so you can actually sit at the picnic tables without craning your neck. The maze adds something a bit different that you don’t see at every ground. When they’re done on the equipment, there’s a big open field and a football pitch to burn off whatever energy is left.
