Right in the castle grounds, so you’re getting that proper stone fortress backdrop while the kids tear around on the slides and swings. The equipment is well looked after — none of that rusty, wobbly stuff you find at some parks — and there’s a sandbox that keeps the little ones busy for ages. Views from up here are genuinely hard to beat, especially on a clear day when you can see out across the Ribble Valley. Picnic tables, toilets, parking — it’s all sorted, which makes a difference when you’ve got a full family in tow. A solid afternoon out for anyone with kids aged 2 to 12, and honestly worth the visit even just for the walk around the grounds.
