Worth knowing before you make the trip — this playground has been reported as closed, so it’s worth checking ahead if you’re planning a visit with kids. It’s over in Cockermouth, which is a decent little town with plenty else to keep families busy nearby. The surrounding area is pretty, with some lovely housing nearby that locals tend to appreciate. Might be one to revisit once it’s back up and running.
