If you’ve not been to Coombe Abbey with the kids yet, you’re genuinely missing out. The play area covers the basics well — swings and slides that keep younger ones busy while you sort out the picnic blanket on the grass. What makes it worth the trip is the setting itself; that pond walk is a proper little route, ducks included, and it never gets old. Pack your own food, grab one of the picnic tables, and you’ve got yourself a solid afternoon without spending much at all. Parking is easy enough too, which honestly makes a difference.
