One of the better spots in Dagenham for families with kids of pretty much any age — the climbing structure and slides keep younger ones busy while older kids drift over to the basketball court or football pitch. The shade trees actually make a difference on a hot day, especially if you’re settling in at one of the picnic tables for a while. There’s parking on site, which sounds small but genuinely matters when you’ve got little ones in tow. Walk the path around and you’ll catch views of the pond nearby, which adds a bit of character you don’t always expect from a park like this. It’s well-kept, and that counts for a lot.
