Braunston Playing Field

Locals know this one for the skatepark more than anything else — it’s a decent setup that works just as well for scooters and bikes as it does for skating. There’s a cricket ground alongside it, which keeps things lively on match days, and the open grass field gives kids (and adults) plenty of room to just run about without getting in anyone’s way. The swings are there for the younger ones, nothing fancy, but they do the job. It’s the kind of place that quietly serves the whole community without making a big deal about it.
