Chilton Recreation Ground

Locals round here know Chilton Rec as a proper no-fuss playground that does exactly what it needs to. The enclosed play area is a genuine relief when you’ve got little ones — you can actually sit at a picnic table and drink a coffee without doing laps. Kids aged two up to about twelve tend to stay busy between the climbing structure, merry-go-round, sandbox, and the usual slides and swings. There’s decent shade from the trees on warmer days, and the open grass field means older ones can burn off energy once they’ve exhausted the equipment. Parking’s right there too, which sounds small but honestly makes a difference.
