If you’ve got kids who are into bikes or scooters, this place is genuinely one of the better spots in Exeter. There’s a purpose-built cycle training area with actual road markings, great for younger ones still getting their confidence, plus a BMX track that keeps the older kids busy for ages. The play area covers the basics — slides, swings, climbing frame, merry-go-round — and it’s laid out well enough that you can watch from the picnic tables without constantly chasing anyone. The open grass fields are massive, so bring a football and make a day of it. There’s parking on site, a walking path along the edge, and a creek nearby that kids will inevitably find their way to.
