Hemswell Village hall & park

Tucked right next to the village hall, this little green is exactly what a proper village park should be — tidy, no-frills, and actually looked after. The grass is always well cut, the football nets are up and ready, and there’s enough open space for kids to properly run around without parents worrying. A few benches dotted around mean you can sit and watch rather than stand awkwardly in the middle of the field. It’s on the quieter side with the forest trails nearby, which makes it a solid spot for low-key birthday parties or community events too.
